Welcome to the ScreenKit Documentation! Here you can find all you need to know about ScreenKit and how to use it. First of all, ScreenKit is a development tool built by alombi that let the developer create some nice and Apple-like HTML pages super-quickly, like Welcome pages or Documentations theirselves.
Once you have created your own page with ScreenKit, you'll have to export it. When you export a project, the HTML and CSS code is copied in your clipboard. All you have to do is:
With the 1.2 update, the Install Update screen has been added to ScreenKit. This screen lets the developer show the user a wonderful and fresh update prompt.
Due to Shortcuts app limitations, this screen must be implemented in a different way:
data:text/html;base64,and the magic variable "Base64 Encoded
With the iOS 14 release, the old method isn't working anymore. Implementing What's New Screens is still possible of course, but you'll need some extra steps.
data:text/html,and the magic variable Text
If you want to use stuff like bold, italic or lists, you have to use the HTML syntax
If you'll use a page generated with ScreenKit, please link and credit my shortcut, pasting in your RoutineHub description this code:
This shortcut and the code it contains have been developed and created by alombi
Please don't steal the code that ScreenKit generates. Use it freely in your shortcuts giving the credits as shown above. Thanks.
